Woodbridge, Detroit, MI

Woodbridge is located on the west side of midtown Detroit. It has been nationally recognized as a historic neighborhood since 1980. The residents of the culturally diverse neighborhood are a mix of students, professors and professionals. With a small but active commercial corridor along Trumbull Avenue, the neighborhood is adjacent to the bustling areas of Corktown and Downtown.

Armory District, Providence, RI

The Armory District is situated on a hill to the west of downtown Providence. Since the 1850's and through the turn of the century, the District was considered a highly desirable residential neighborhood. The District later suffered as at least one-third of its families abandoned the area for suburban homes by the mid-1970's. The community has been revitalized over the last few decades and today is home to some of Providence's best parks, restaurants and nightlife.

Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY

Bed-Stuy is located in north-central Brooklyn and encompasses one of the largest collections of intact Victorian architecture in the country. Largely a residential neighborhood, over 2,000 buildings are protected landmarks, with the streetscapes defined by beautiful brownstones. The culturally significant neighborhood has a rich history as one of the nation's largest African-American communities for much of the 20th century and continues today as one of the most diverse and vibrant areas of Brooklyn.
